2018 Storytelling Contest: Contes sur le Bayou

St. Martinville.  Please join us for the 2018 Storytelling Festival: Contes sur le Bayou, Saturday, July 14th at Longfellow Evangeline State Historic Site (Park) in St. Martinville, 1200 North Main Street, from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., for the storytelling festival. The festival will feature storytellers, performers, artists   and authors from Alexandria, New Orleans, Baton Rouge, St. Martinville, New Iberia, Jennings, and Lafayette. 

All who attend will enjoy stories, music, meeting authors, a puppet show, story reading for young children, hearing and singing story songs from the Cajun Dulcimer Society, and much more. Free books and free posters are available for early arrivals at the festival.  Admission to the festival is free.  For additional information, call 337 261-1940.
