Thursday, July 05, 2018

Harris County, TX -- On July 3, Harris County Fire Marshal's Office (HCFMO) investigators arrested James Martin (DOB 12/7/1953) for arson and burglary of a building. Martin was a suspect in several dumpster fires and burglaries of businesses in northern Harris County.

"James Martin told HCFMO investigators he started the fires in order to "clean-up" the property around the abandon commercial building where he was living," said Public Information Officer Rachel Moreno. "Martin also confessed to breaking into several businesses and starting several dumpster fires in northern Harris County. Martin's arrest has made this area of Harris County safer."
