Investigation into Fatal Shooting at 1100 Webster

Houston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 1100 Webster Street about 4:55 a.m. on Wednesday (July 4).

The identity of the victim is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant M. Brady and Detective J. Nguyen reported:

The victim was standing on a sidewalk at the above address when he was shot by one or more unknown suspects possibly driving in one or two vehicles; a red, four-door Cadillac and a white Dodge Challenger.  Both vehicles were seen multiple times in the area at the time of the shooting.  

At this time, there is no known motive or suspect(s) in the shooting.
