Investigation into Shooting at 900 East Little York
News Release

Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 900 East Little York about 5:15 p.m. on Thursday (July 5).  

The victim, Ramon Gutierrez, 30, was transported to an area hospital with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.  

HPD Major Assaults/Family Violence Division Officers A. Le and J. Russell reported:  

Mr. Gutierrez was standing in front of a bus stop at the above address when he got into an altercation with an unknown male in a silver vehicle of unknown make or model.  The suspect pulled his vehicle into a parking lot behind the bus stop, retrieved a gun from the trunk and fired several shots at Gutierrez, striking him once in the right leg.  The suspect then fled the scene.  Gutierrez was transported by HFD paramedics to the hospital.
