Remembering Jim Guidry Bay Area Houston Economic Partnership
Galveston County
Statement on the Army Corps of Engineers Disaster Recovery Projects list
News Release
Friday, July 06, 2018

“The announcement by the U.S. Army Corps Of Engineers of nearly $5 billion for disaster recovery projects in Texas and $295,165,000 specifically for Clear Creek is good news for this area. Although for many years Clear Creek has been a high priority flood mitigation project for Friendswood City Councilmembers and City Staff, until more of the details of the project are released, it’s too early to say what the impact will be in the City of Friendswood.” --Mayor Mike Foreman
