AMSET hosts The Art of Giving, leave a legacy that matters
News Release
Monday, July 09, 2018

Beaumont, Texas - The Art Museum of Southeast Texas (AMSET) is hosting The Art of Giving Tuesday, July 24, 2018, 5:30 – 7:00 p.m.

The Art of Giving is an informational event with discussion by Beaumont Attorneys Kate Eckhart and Anna Scheurich about planned giving and why leaving a legacy is important.  There will also be a silent auction featuring fine artwork of clay objects, prints, and paintings.  Complementary appetizers and open bar will be provided. This event is free and open to the public.

AMSET is fortunate to receive generous gifts left by Drs. Lulu Smith and Wes Washburn, Sue Mann Weisenfelder, and C. Homer and Edith Fuller Chambers that will benefit the museum for years to come.  However, as AMSET continues to grow so must its endowment to sustain stability and prepare for future growth.

As a cultural cornerstone of the community, the endowment benefits AMSET’s growing art collection, exhibitions, and educational programs that enlighten thousands of children and their families every year.
