Dickinson Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying suspect’s in a bank robbery.

On Thursday, July 5, 2018, at about 3:30 pm, Dickinson Police responded to the BBVA Compass Bank, 3545 Gulf Freeway. A young, thin, black male had entered the bank and presented a note to a teller. The note demanded money in large bills. The teller did not give the suspect any money and the suspect left the bank. No weapon was displayed during the robbery.

The suspect was wearing a black hooded jacket, a Houston Astros baseball cap, sunglasses, blue jeans, and purple surgical gloves. The hooded jacket had distinctive markings, a large red cross on the back, white lettering on the front and arms, the number 84 on the left arm and an orange circular emblem on the right chest. The suspect also appears to be wearing a wig.

The suspect was a passenger in what is believed to be a 2013-2015 Nissan Sentra, possible gray in color, with paper temporary license plates. There is no description on the driver of the vehicle. The vehicle was last seen traveling northbound onto the feeder road of IH-45.
