Local choirs join society to share love of music to build joyful memories

CONROE, Texas – The Montgomery County Choral Society’s 2018-2019 concert season begins on Sept. 27, 2018, with more members, special guests and a continuing desire to support the local music scene.

Heather Orr, who has recently joined the society as artistic director, said she is very excited and happy to have this opportunity to be a part of such a great group of talented singers.

“The season is about bringing joy and the love of music to the entire community,” she said. “We have had a great response to our membership drive and it is thrilling to see the roster grow.”

All concerts will be held at the Sanctuary at First United Methodist Conroe at 4308 W. Davis St., Conroe, TX 77304. Individual concert tickets can be purchased through the society’s website at mcchoral.org, from any MCCS member, or on the night of the concert at the door. Season tickets are also available on the website.
