News Release
Monday, August 06, 2018

HOUSTON — For all high school students considering college options, school counselors gathering college information to pass to students, and parents who just need guidance through the process, University of Houston-Clear Lake Center for Executive Education is hosting High School Super Saturday at the UH-Clear Lake Pearland Campus on Aug. 25 from  8 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.

The free event offers access to UHCL admissions representatives who will explain the details of the university’s admissions process. “There will be sessions to help everyone understand some of the key elements of UHCL’s procedures,” said Center for Executive Education Events Coordinator and Marketing Assistant Brenda Guerrero. “Session topics include how to decide which college entrance exams to take, information about financial aid and scholarships, the difference between entrance exams, and a ‘mock admission,’ in which parents can speak to admissions representatives about how they evaluate all the information in students’ applications to determine whether they’re accepted or not.”

A representative from UHCL’s Center for Educational Programs, will be available to parents and students to discuss tutoring options on campus, as well as summer camp programs. All students who attend will be able to take a free mock SAT and score their exam on site.

UHCL Pearland Campus is located at 1200 Pearland Pkwy., Pearland. To RSVP for this event, please visit:
