Performances and concerts this week on stage in the Gulf Coast area include Ladysmith Black Mambazo in Houston.

Miller Outdoor Theatre in Houston will present the Ladysmith Black Mambazo in concert on Friday at 8:15 p.m.

The group sings a traditional music called iciathamiya, which was developed in the mines of South Africa.

Miller Theatre will also present Incredible India Cultural Connections on Saturday at 8:15 p.m.

Miller Theatre will also host its Movies at Miller series, with Grease on Tuesday and Jurassic Park on Wednesday, both at 8:30 p.m.

The Alley Theatre in Houston continues its production of Agatha Christie’s “The Mousetrap” this week.

Performances are Tuesday through Thursday at 7:30, Friday at 8 p.m., Saturday at 2:30 p.m. and 8 p.m., and Sunday at 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. The show runs through September 2.

Upcoming performances include “Shout! The Mod Musical”, opening September 7 at Clear Creek Community Theatre in Nassau Bay, and An Evening with Robert Earl Keen at The Grand 1894 Opera House in Galveston on August 25.
