The Metropolitan Transit Authority for Harris County Board of Directors today voted unanimously to award a contract to Houston Freightliner for the purchase of two non-revenue vehicles to support the bus maintenance division.

The board voted to approve the FY2018 Monitoring Program results for METRO's 2018 Title VI Program.

The board voted to approve METRO's 2018 Title VI Program.

The board voted to award a contract to Safety Vision, LLC for the purchase of closed circuit television equipment, installation of cameras and antennas in light rail vehicles and replacement of certain equipment items.

The board did not meet in executive session. There were no items that required meeting in closed session.

All action items were approved by unanimous vote. Board Chair Carrin Patman was absent. Vice Chair Jim Robinson presided over the meeting. Agenda

During the meeting, the board recognized former Board Member Christof Spieler for his service to the board. Spieler was term limited. Terry Morales was appointed by the Houston City Council to replace Spieler on the board.
