This Week on Stage

Performances and concerts this week on stage in the Gulf Coast area include Vivaldi vs. Paganini in Houston and the Galveston Symphony Orchestra in Galveston.

Miller Outdoor Theatre in Houston will present Vivaldi vs. Paganini on Saturday at 8 p.m.

Miller Theatre will also present The Legend of Drums-Drumming the Sky and Earth on Friday at 8 p.m. and Samskriti Bollywood Blast on Sunday at 8:15 p.m.

Miller Theatre also continues its Movies at Miller series, with Coco on Tuesday and Beauty and the Beast on Wednesday, both at 8:30 p.m.

The Grand 1894 Opera House in Galveston will present the Galveston Symphony Orchestra on Sunday at 7 p.m.

The Alley Theatre in Houston continues its production of Agatha Christie’s “The Mousetrap” this week.

Performances are Tuesday through Thursday at 7:30, Friday at 8 p.m., Saturday at 2:30 p.m. and 8 p.m., and Sunday at 2:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. The show has been extended to run through September 16.

Upcoming performances include “Driving Miss Daisy”, opening September 6 at College of the Mainland Community Theatre in Texas City, and “Oklahoma!” presented by Theatre Under the Stars in Houston and opening September 11.
