The City Loses a Great Civil Servant
LEAGUE CITY, TEXAS – It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to Firefighter and Lifetime Member Greg Bozdech. Greg passed away Thursday afternoon surrounded by family and friends. He served the League City community selflessly and with a positive attitude for over 20 years and will be deeply missed.
Firefighter Bozdech came in to the League City Volunteer Fire Department in 1996 where he served as Lieutenant, President of the Executive Board, and Secretary of the Executive Board amongst other roles and committee chairs. Greg was also an employee of the Pearland Fire Marshals office for over 10 years. He will be remembered not only for his accomplishments, but also for his big personality, his smile, and most of all his big heart. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers.

Visitation/Rosary – Monday, September 10th, 4pm to 8pm, Rosary at 7pm, St. Mary’s Catholic Church (1612 E Walker St, League City, TX 77573)

Memorial (Open to the Public) – Tuesday, September 11th, at noon, Clear Creek Community Church (999 FM270, League City, TX 77573)
