La Porte City Council on Monday voted 4-3, with Nancy Ojeda, Kristin Martin and Jay Martin opposed, to approve an ordinance adopting the FY2019 Budget as proposed.

The budget includes a total of $95,282,088 in expenditures for all funds, compared to $98,201,169 in FY2018. The General Fund accounts for $47,206,573 in expenditures.

The city council voted 6-1, with John Zemanek opposed, to approve an interlocal agreement with the City of Morgan's Point for municipal court services.
