Missouri City City Council on Monday voted unanimously to adopt the city's FY2019 Budget.

The budget includes total projected revenues of $51,745,624. Budgeted expenditures total $51,456,355, resulting in an ending fund balance of $7,210,427.

The city council held a public hearing prior to adoption of the budget.

The city council voted 6-0, with Chris Preston not voting on the item, to cast the city's ballots in favor of electing candidates to the Texas Municipal League Intergovernmental Risk Pool Board of Trustees.

The city voted to elect Randy Criswell to Place 11, Bert Lumbreras to Place 12, Byron Black to Place 13, and David Harris to Place 14.

The city council voted unanimously to approve an interlocal agreement with the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office to house county officers in a city facility.

The sheriff's office will make use of a patrol officer room that is currently unoccupied at Station Five.

The city council voted unanimously to award a contract to Brooks Concrete for sidewalk repairs.

The city council voted to approve an interlocal agreement with the City of Stafford for use of the Missouri City Animal Shelter.

Stafford will pay a new monthly fee of $2,447 under the agreement. Previously, Stafford has paid $1,674 per month for use of the animal shelter.

The city council voted unanimously to grant a request by Farmers Market Partners to host a farmers market on the first and third Saturday of each month at 2700 Lake Olympia Parkway.

The city council voted 6-0, with Jeffrey Boney away from the table, to approve items on the city's consent agenda.

All other items were approved by unanimous vote. All members were present. Agenda
