Clear Creek ISD Board of Trustees

The Clear Creek Independent School District Board of Trustees voted unanimously to adopt a property tax rate of $1.40 per $100 valuation for the 2018 Tax Year.

The rate exceeds the effective tax rate of $1.3844 per $100 valuation, reflecting a 1.13 percent increase.

Of the total tax rate, revenues from $1.06 per $100 valuation will be dedicated to maintenance and operation, while revenues from $0.034 per $100 valuation will be used to make payments on the district's bonded indebtedness.

The board took no action regarding approval of a contract with the Galveston County Sheriff's Office to provide school liaison officers. The item was pulled from the agenda and will be considered at the next meeting.

The board voted unanimously to use capital projects funds totaling $1,546,629 to fund the cotton restoration/cottonwood debris removal judgement, including pre and post award interest, and to fund temporary and permanent repairs to League City Intermediate resulting from a recent fire.

The board voted unanimously to approve an interlocal agreement with the College of the Mainland for the Collegeiate High School for the 2018-2019 School Year.

All other items were approved by unanimous vote. All members were present. Agenda
