Play-by-Play on METRO Route Changes for Astros Playoff Games
Press Release
Thursday, October 04, 2018

Astros METROThe much anticipated Astros postseason opener on Friday afternoon will bring some service adjustments for METRO routes near Minute Maid Park. Due to traffic congestion, stops normally located along Congress Avenue from La Branch to Main streets will not be serviced. Instead METRO is offering "Go Astros" shuttles which will pick up customers at two points along Congress Avenue and drop them off where normal service resumes.

Seven Park & Ride routes will be impacted. METRO staff will be in the area to redirect customers. Riders can expect these detours throughout the postseason for afternoon games on weekdays.

Fans headed to Minute Maid Park can catch a ride on METRORail for just $1.25 each way.
