Tropical Storm Nadine has Formed in Far Eastern Atlantic, Not a Threat to Texas

What is the danger?

Tropical Storm Nadine has formed in the eastern tropical Atlantic. It is the fourteenth named storm of the 2018 Atlantic hurricane season.

According to the National Hurricane Center, Nadine has formed southwest of the Cabo Verde islands in the far eastern Atlantic off the coast of Africa.

Nadine is no threat to land and is forecast to weaken to a tropical depression by Friday as it enters the central Atlantic. 

 

 

What you need to do:

With three systems out in the Atlantic, residents are reminded that hurricane season runs through November 30th. Being prepared for a disaster is a year-round commitment.
