Fort Bend County Commissioners Court today voted unanimously to approve an agreement with Crain Group, LLC for the construction of the Medical Examiner Office, in an amount not to exceed $3,659,165.

The commissioners court unanimously to approve the purchase of eight vehicles from Helfman Ford.

The vehicles include two Fort Fusion models for the Sheriff's Office, a Ford Explorer for the Sheriff's Office, as well as Explorer vehicles for the Engineering, Environmental Services, and Public Defender's offices.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to approve a lease agreement with Grand Canyon Investments, Inc. for a warehouse for Hurricane Harvey recovery items.

The county will pay $1,500 per month through January 31, 2019 for lease of the warehouse.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to authorize the county attorney to incur litigation costs in the amount of $155,000 in the matter of JDC/Firethorne LTD vs. Fort Bend County, et al, as discussed in closed session.
