Investigation into Shooting at 2709 Alabama
News Release
Wednesday, October 10, 2018

Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 2709 Alabama about 12:40 a.m. today (October 10).  

The victim, Joshua Norman, 27, was treated at an area hospital for a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.   

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Officers G. Black and J. Roberts reported:  

HPD patrol officers responded to a shooting call at the above address and were told by a witness that Mr. Norman had been shot, but left the scene.  While searching the area, officers found two pistols and two vehicles struck by gunfire.  After checking local hospitals, Norman was found waiting in an emergency room.  

At this time, there is no known motive nor suspect(s).
