Dickinson City Council
by Garrett Bryce
Wednesday, October 10, 2018

Dickinson City Council on Tuesday voted unanimously to approve a professional services agreement with Huitt-Zollars, Inc. for repair of the fire station located at 4500 FM 517.

The fire station had been damaged by flooding due to Hurricane Harvey. Huitt-Zollars will provide architectural and engineering services for the repairs.

The city council voted unanimously to deny a motion to adopt the Dickinson Economic Development Corporation's FY2019 Budget.

The item was discussed in closed session prior to the vote to deny the budget.

The city council voted unanimously to award a contract to Belt Harris Pechacek, LLP, for independent financial audit services. The firm currently provides services to the city.

The city council took no action resulting from closed session discussions regarding consultation with the city attorney concerning potential litigation, particularly the Armstron lawsuit, and other legal matters.

All other items were approved by unanimous vote. All members were present. Agenda
