Free Admission for Base Personnel and All Active and Veteran Military
 

League City, Texas – With the approaching Veterans Day holiday as the fitting backdrop, the Clear Creek Independent School District is proud to honor the men and women who serve the Nation from the Ellington Field Joint Reserve Base. The tribute, which will honor base personnel as well as all active and veteran military, will take place at the Clear Brook High School vs. Clear Lake High School football game at CCISD Challenger Columbia Stadium at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 9.  

Ellington was first established in 1917 as a military airfield. Today, with over 7,700 service members including Air and Army National Guard, Army, Navy, and Marine Reserves and U.S. Coast Guard, the Ellington Field Joint Reserve Base is the primary military installment in Southeast Texas. The 147th Attack Wing, also stationed at Ellington Field Join Reserve Base, is a vital part of the Texas Military Department, Air National Guard and United States Air Force. The 147th Attack Wing flies surveillance, reconnaissance and close air support missions for U.S. and allied forces around the world.

WHEN:  Friday, November 9, 2018, 7:00 p.m. | Clear Brook High School vs. Clear Lake High School Game 

WHERE:  Clear Creek ISD Challenger Columbia Stadium | 1955 W. NASA Blvd., Webster 77598 

WHO:   The public is invited to attend the football game and enjoy the special halftime tribute program. Free admission for all active duty, guard, reserves and retired military, and one guest. Verification of affiliation, such as badge/ID or official uniform are required for free admittance.
