The Alley Theatre in Houston kicks off its traditional production of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol” on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
Additional performances are on Saturday and Sunday at 2:30 and 7:30 p.m. The show runs through December 30.
Island ETC, East-End Theatre Company opens its production of “Why Torture is Wrong, and the People Who Love Them” on Friday at 8 p.m.
Additional performances are on Saturday at 8 p.m. and a special matinee showing on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. The show runs through December 8.
The Grand 1894 Opera House in Galveston will present The Galveston Symphony Orchestra in concert on Sunday at 4 p.m.
Miller Outdoor Theatre in Houston will host Inner City Nutcracker on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
Miller Outdoor Theatre will also present I am King: The Michael Jackson Experience on Friday at 8:30 p.m.
Bay Area Harbour Playhouse in Dickinson wraps its production of “Dixie Swim Club” this week, with performances on Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and on Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
College of the Mainland Community Theatre in Texas City ends its production of “Noises Off” this week.
Performances are Thursday through Saturday at 8 p.m. and on Sunday at 2:30 p.m.
Upcoming performances include “Miss Bennett: Christmas at Pemberly” opening November 23 at Main Street Theater in Houston, and Asleep at the Wheel – Merry Christmas Y’all, in concert on November 24 at The Grand 1894 Opera House in Galveston.
