Brazoria County Commissioners Court

Brazoria County Commissioners Court on Tuesday voted unanimously to authorize the lease of the Phillips Business Center Annex, located at 201 East Mulberry Street, at a rate of $1.50 per square foot for three years, with renewal as set in the agreement, as discussed in closed session.

The lease will be signed following review by the District Attorney's Office.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to award a $170,465 contract to Tex-Con Construction Services for reconstruction of the headwall for County Road 213 at County Road 428.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to reappoint Donna Bogema to the Brazoria County Library Board.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to approve a modified lease agreement for the Texas Gulf Coast Regional Airport with Mettler-Toledo, LLC.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to advertise for competitive sealed proposals for the Lake Jackson Annex Building.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to solicit requests for qualifications for engineering services for Texas General Land Office Community Development Block Grant-Disaster Recovery funding allocations related to Hurricane Harvey.

Nancy Friudenberg, Connie Garner, Elvia Soto, a designee of the Engineer's Office and Natasha Stulberg were appointed to an evaluation committee, and Commissioners Dude Payne was added to the committee.

The commissioners court took no action resulting from executive session discussions on three items regarding potential litigation and an item concerning potential eminent domain litigation.

All other items were approved by unanimous vote. All members were present. Agenda
