The Metropolitan Transit Authority of Harris County Board of Directors today voted unanimously to amend a previous resolution to delete reference to the City of Houston as a party to the interlocal agreement between METRO and Texas Southern University for the University District Project.

The amendment also limited METRO's expenses in connection with the agreement to $25,000. Listen (0:44)

The board voted unanimously to appoint Cydonil V. Fairfax as assistant secretary to the board.

The board voted unanimously to approve a construction contract with RailWorks Track Systems for the expansion of the yard track at the Rail Operations center.

The baord voted unanimously to revise the Procurement Manuel to increase the quote threshold for obtaining quotations on micro purchases from $3,000 to $10,000.

The board voted unanimously to authorize the President and CEO Thomas Lambert to negotiate a five year master lease agreement with Enterprise Fleet Management as opposed to a one-year term.

The board took no action regarding an interlocal agreement with the Midtown Management District for Main Street median landscaping.
