This Week on Stage

Performances and concerts this week on stage in the Gulf Coast area include “Scrooge: The Musical” in Beaumont and “A Christmas Carol” in Galveston.

Beaumont Community Players will kick off its production of “Scrooge: The Musical” on Friday at 7:30 p.m.

An additional performance is on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. The show runs through December 16.

The Grand 1894 Opera House in Galveston will present “A Christmas Carol” on Friday at 8 p.m. News Release

An additional performance is on Saturday at 3 p.m.

The Grand 1894 Opera House will also present Big Band Holidays – Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis in concert on Sunday at 4 p.m. News Release

Clear Lake Community Theatre in Nassau Bay debuts its production of “Miracle on 34th Street” on Friday at 8 p.m.

Additional performances are on Saturday at 8 p.m. and on Sunday at 2:30 p.m.

Bay Area Harbour Playhouse in Dickinson kicks off its production of “Annie” on Friday at 8 p.m.

Additional performances are on Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30 p.m. The show runs through December 16.

Beaumont Community Players also continues its production of “Every Christmas Story Ever Told (and Then Some)” this week.

Performances are on Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m. The show runs through December 15.

Main Street Theater in Houston continues its production of “Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley” this week.

Performances this week are on Thursday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and on Sunday at 3 p.m. The show runs through December 23.

The Alley Theatre in Houston continues its traditional production of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol”.

Performances are on Thursday and Friday at 7:30 p.m., and on Saturday and Sunday at 2:30 and 7:30 p.m. The show runs through December 30.

Island ETC, East-End Theatre Company continues its production of “Why Torture is Wrong, and the People Who Love Them” this week, with performances Thursday through Saturday at 8 p.m.

The show runs through December 8.

Upcoming performances include “Beauty and the Beast”, presented by Theatre Under the Stars in Houston and opening December 8, and “All Is Calm: The Christmas Truce of 1914” at The Grand 1894 Opera House in Galveston on December 9.
