League City City Council on Tuesday voted 7-0-1, with Todd Kinsey abstaining, to re-elect Kinsey as mayor pro tem.

The city council voted unanimously to approve the city's 2018 Master Water Plan and 2018 Master Wastewater Plan.

The item was approved on first and final reading. The water and wastewater plans provide a thorough evaluation of the city's current water and wastewater infrastructure and future needs.

The city council took no action regarding a request to rezone approximately 41.6 acres of land from Residential Single-Family to include a Planned Unit Development Overlay at the north side of FM 517, south of League City Parkway and west of Calder Road. The item was pulled from the agenda.

The proposed ordinance is to replace the existing Duncan PUD and increase the area from 1704.7 acres to 1,747.4 acres due to the the acquisition of a parcel in the north central portion.

The city council voted unanimously to approve a professional services agreement with PGAL for a library needs assessment in an amount not to exceed $95,875.

The city council took no action regarding an offer of a financial or other incentive to a business prospect that seeks to locate, stay or expand in the city. The item was pulled from the agenda.

The city council took no action resulting from closed session discussions regarding the potential purchase or sale of real property.
