Investigation into Shooting at 4002 Lockwood Drive
News Release
Friday, November 30, 2018

Houston police are investigating the shooting of a man at 4002 Lockwood Drive about 2:20 a.m. Thursday (November 29).

The victim, Lorenzo Andrado, 28, was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.

HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division Officers S. Ragsdale, C. Grahmann and J. Cimeni reported:

Mr. Andrado and a friend got into a disturbance with a group of unknown males and females inside a gas station at the above address.  One female was holding a gun during the disturbance.  As the disturbance moved outside into the parking lot, Andrado went to his vehicle and retrieved a large machete.  As he walked back toward the group's vehicle and swung the machete at them, the female armed with the gun fired several shots and struck Andrado.

Both groups drove off immediately after the shooting.  Andrado drove to another location and called 9-1-1.  He was transported by HFD paramedics to an area hospital with gunshot wounds to his neck and back.

Anyone with information in this case is urged to contact the HPD Major Assaults & Family Violence Division at 713-308-8800 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
