Date Set for Raise Your Glass to CIS to Benefit At Risk Students

The 8th annual Raise Your Glass to CIS wine tasting will be held April 15 at Bay Oaks Country Club benefiting Communities In Schools-Bay Area. CIS-Bay Area is a dropout prevention program serving 26 campuses in Clear Creek and Dickinson Independent School Districts.

Following a champagne toast at 2:30 p.m., a "speed" tasting will feature local sommeliers/wine educators led by sommelier Amy Coron Power, a California wine appellation specialist.   

Co-chairmen of this year's tasting are Melinda Mintz and Kelli Reddinger.




The Grand Cru Underwriter is MaximGroup, an Assured Partners company. Guests will receive wine glasses etched with the company's logo. Sponsorship opportunities are still available. Contact Hillary Gramm, resource development director of CIS-Bay Area, at

Seating is limited and reservations are recommended. The event is held in conjunction with the Keep Kids in School Golf Tournament.
