Jamaica Beach City Council on Monday voted unanimously to award a contract for bank depository services to Texas First Bank.

The city council voted to abolish the city's Beach Park Board Committee. The city will still have volunteers to assist with beach parks, but will not have a formal committee.

The city council voted to award contracts for debris monitoring services. The primary contract was awarded to TLC Engineering, and a secondary contract to True North.

The city council voted to award contracts for debris removal services. The primary contract was awarded to DRC Emergency Services, and a secondary contract to TFR Enterprises, Inc.

The city council voted to award a contract to All Point Inspections for culvert cleaning services.

The city council voted to approve a contract with Galveston County for the May elections.

Terms expiring in may include Mayor Steve Spicer and aldermen Rosemary Lindley and David Welch.

All items were approved. All votes were unanimous with all members present. Agenda
