Seabrook City Council on Tuesday voted unanimously to approve a base rate adjustment for garbage and recycling options pursuant to the agreement with Waste Management of Texas, Inc.

The rate will be increased by 12 percent, or $2.68 per month, for a new total monthly bill of $25.23.

The city council voted unanimously to award a $37,972 contract to Caldwell County Chevrolet for the purchase of a Chevrolet Silverado and a one ton crew cab pickup truck for the Public Works Department.

The city council voted unanimously to reject a bid received from Caldwell County Chevrolet for several vehicles.

The city council voted unanimously to approve an interlocal agreement with the Harris County Flood Control District for implementation of TCEQ and EPA required watershed protection program public education on the MS4 permit.
