Sugar Land City Council

Sugar Land City Council on Tuesday voted unanimously to approve the issuance of Combination Tax and Revenue Certificates of Obligation in the amount of $23 million to fund capital improvement projects.

Projects to be funded from the bond proceeds include the Covington Woods Drainage Improvements, Settlers Park Drainage Improvements, post-Harvey drainage studies, replacement of a fire ladder truck, and other projects.

The city council voted 6-0, with Mayor Joe Zimmerman not present at the time of the vote, to approve a $91,780 professional services agreement with Halff Associates, Inc. for the Integrated Stormwater Management Model Update.

The city council voted unanimously to approve the issuance of Water and Sewer System Revenue Bonds to fund approximately $13.76 million in water and wastewater system improvements.

All other items were approved by unanimous vote. All members were present. Agenda
