This Week on Stage

Performances and concerts this week on stage in the Gulf Coast area include “The Nutcracker” in Galveston and continuation of “Beauty and the Beast” in Houston.

The Grand 1894 Opera House in Galveston will present the City Ballet of Houston for its performance of “The Nutcracker” this week.

Performances are on Saturday at 2 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. and on Sunday at 2 p.m. News Release

Theatre Under The Stars in Houston continues with “Beauty and the Beast” this week at The Hobby Center.

Performances are Tuesday through Thursday at 7:30 p.m., Friday at 8 p.m., Saturday at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. and on Sunday at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

The show runs through December 23.

Beaumont Community Players wraps its production of “Scrooge: The Musical” this week, with performances on Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and on Sunday at 2 p.m.

Beaumont Community Players also ends its production of “Every Christmas Story Ever Told (and Then Some)” this week.

Performances are on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. and on Saturday at 2 p.m.

Clear Lake Community Theatre in Nassau Bay wraps up with “Miracle on 34th Street” this week.

Performances are on Friday at 8 p.m., Saturday at 2:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. and on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. The show runs through December 16.

Bay Area Harbour Playhouse in Dickinson ends “Annie” this week.

Performances are on Friday and Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30 p.m.

Main Street Theater in Houston continues its production of “Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley” this week.

Performances this week are on Thursday through Saturday at 7:30 p.m. and on Sunday at 3 p.m. The show runs through December 23.

The Alley Theatre in Houston continues its traditional production of Charles Dickens’ “A Christmas Carol”.

Performances are on Thursday and Friday at 7:30 p.m., and on Saturday and Sunday at 2:30 and 7:30 p.m. The show runs through December 30.

Upcoming performances include The Oak Ridge Boys in concert January 19-20 at The Grand 1894 Opera House, and “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown”, opening January 24 at College of the Mainland Community Theatre in Texas City.
