Seabrook City Council on Tuesday voted unanimously to ratify the nomination of Chief Sean Wright to the Houston-Galveston Area Council Transportation Policy Council's Regional Safety committee.

Wright was nominated by Mayor Pro Tem Natalie Picha.

The city council voted unanimously to award a $275,577 contract to Hahn Equipment Company for Wired/Wireless Telemetry System (SCADA) replacement and upgrades.

The city council voted unanimously to adopt a resolution supporting a development, to be known as Seaside Lodge at Chesapeake Bay, to be funded through low income housing tax credits.

The development will be for senior citizens and located at the northeast quadrant of Elam Street and Larrabee Street.

The city council voted unanimously to adopt the city's 2019 State Legislative Agenda. Legislative Agenda

The city council voted unanimously to approve funding, in an amount not to exceed $55,000, from the city's FY2020 Hotel Occupancy Tax Budget for the 2019 Celebration Seabrook Event.

The city council took no action resulting from closed session discussions regarding review of the City Charter and legal issues regarding a request for consent to encroachment.
