League City Fire Marshal's Office
News Release
Wednesday, December 26, 2018

The League City Fire Marshal’s Office would like to remind the citizens of League City that it is unlawful to discharge or possess opened fireworks within the city limits of League City.

Per the City Ordinance, a firework is defined as “any composition or device designed to produce a visible or audible effect by combustion, explosion, deflagration or detonation”.  The Fire Marshal’s Office will be out patrolling for fireworks over the new year holiday and a violation of this law could result in a fine of up to $2000.

To report illegal activity please contact the League City Public Safety Dispatch Center at 281-332-2566, Option #8. The League City Fire Marshal’s Office hopes everyone has a happy and safe holiday season.
