This Week on Stage

Performances and concerts this week on stage in the Gulf Coast area include “Lost Girls” in Galveston and “Verdict” in Nassau Bay.

Island ETC, East-End Theatre Company in Galveston will kick off its production of “Lost Girls” on Friday at 8 p.m. News Release

Additional performances are on Saturday at 8 p.m. and on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. The show runs through January 19.

Clear Creek Community Theatre in Nassau Bay will kick off “Verdict” on Friday at 8 p.m.

Additional performances are on Saturday at 8 p.m. and on Sunday at 2:30 p.m. The show runs through January 27.

The Grand 1894 Opera House in Galveston will present “The Other Mozart” on Saturday at 8 p.m.

“The Other Mozart is the true, untold story of Nannerl Mozart – sister of Amadeus,” said a news release. “Written by Sylvia Milo, this award-winning drama showcases Nannerl as a prodigy, keyboard virtuoso and composer who performed throughout Europe with her brother to equal acclaim. Yet, Nannerl’s work and her story faded away… lost to history.” News Release

Upcoming events include “Intimate Apparel”, opening January 18 and presented by Beaumont Community Players in Beaumont, and “The Carpenter”, opening January 18 at the Alley Theatre in Houston.
