Harris County Commissioners Court on Tuesday voted unanimously to approve a motion requesting the Harris County Flood Control District work with the county attorney and any necessary departments and stakeholders to bring back recommendations for the court to adopt in the creation of a process for the equitable distribution in the expenditure of federal funds.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to submit to the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development the Harris County Program Years 2019-2023 Consolidated Plan and Regional Analysis of Impediments to Fair Housing Choice Plan.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to accept from Texas Association of Special Investigators Unit the donation of game cameras.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to use funds in the amount of $400 to purchase Metro transit cards to provide assistance for defendants that have a financial need and are without transportation for court appearances.
