WEBER STATEMENT ON OVAL OFFICE ADDRESS, CRISIS AT OUR SOUTHERN BORDER
News Release
Wednesday, January 09, 2019

Washington D.C. – On Tuesday, January 8, 2019, President Donald Trump addressed the nation from the Oval Office. He called upon Congressional Leaders to come together, secure our nation and address the humanitarian and national security crisis happening on our southern border. Congressman Randy Weber (R - Friendswood) released the following statement:

“The address from the Oval Office was straightforward and to the point. Our nation must secure its borders. Additional resources are needed to ensure the safety and security of all involved. To deny this request is to put our fellow Americans, our border and law enforcement agents and those truly seeking refuge at risk.”
