Investigation into Male Found Deceased at 10550 South Post Oak Road

Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a male found following a fire at 10550 South Post Oak Road #22 about 11:50 p.m. on Thursday (January 10).  

The identity and cause of death of the male are pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.  

HPD Homicide Division Sergeant C. Duncan and Detective K. Heaverlo reported:  

HPD homicide detectives responded to the above address after Houston Fire Department arson investigators notified them of a fire death.  A male victim was transported to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.  

As there were no obvious signs of foul play, the investigation is pending his cause of death.
