METRO Police Link Houston Man to Random Violent Attacks
News Release
Friday, January 11, 2019

METRO Police are requesting the public's help in the search for a  suspect in two random attacks. The man is 35-year-old Torrence Donell Brown. Investigators say the first incident happened on Dec. 31, 2018, when Brown approached a couple waiting on the Preston Station rail platform at 311 Main Street. First, Brown punched and kicked the male victim several times and then hit the female victim.

The second attack occurred on Jan. 10, 2019, at 12200 Eastex Freeway when a male customer boarded a METRO bus. Police say Brown, who was sitting near the front of the bus, stood up and began assaulting the customer. The suspect fled the scene and paramedics were called to assist the victim.

Brown is approximately 215 lbs and has several tattoos on his face. Investigators linked him to the second case by matching the unique tattoos. He is wanted on three felony warrants.

MPD warns Brown should be considered extremely violent and should not be approached.

Anyone with information on Brown's whereabouts is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 713- 222-TIPS.
