Sugar Land City Council

Sugar Land City Council on Tuesday voted unanimously to approve four appointments to the Sugar Land Legacy Foundation Board of Directors and to name a president of the board.

Sunny Sharma, Paul Likhari and Brent Leftwich were reappointed to the board. Dee Koch was appointed as a new member and Sharma was reappointed as president of the board.

The city council voted 6-0, with Bridget Yeung away from the table during the vote, to award a $63,382 contract to Aguirre and Fields, LP for the Oyster Creek Airport Maintenance Bridge Replacement design and construction phase services.

The bridge was damaged during Hurricane Harvey and requires replacement.

The city council voted unanimously to award a $58,200 contract to Building Exterior Solutions, Inc. for roofing assessments and related professional services for Fire Stations 2, 3 and 5 and the T.E. Harman Center.

All other items were approved by unanimous vote. All members were present. Agenda
