Pearland City Council on Monday voted unanimously to award a $1,487,707 contract to Cobb Fendley & Associates, Inc. for construction management and construction inspection services for the Hughes Ranch Road Project.

The city council postponed action regarding the renaming of portions of Max Road between Broadway and Hughes Ranch Road to Reid Boulevard, and renaming a disconnected section of Max Road to Old Max Court.

The city council voted unanimously to renew a unit supply bid for mechanicalservices with STP Services, in the amount of $650,000.

The city council held discussion regarding FY2019 bond package projects as well as proposals for a new solid waste contract in FY2020 that will include garbage cart service.

All other action items were approved by unanimous vote. Council members Derrick Reed and Woody Owens were absent. Agenda
