Feb. 9: Dad & Daughter Dance | Feb. 14: Dinner with Live Music

With the 2019 Valentine’s Day on the calendar next week, Missouri City is prepping for some fun activities including the traditional Dad & Daughter Dance this Saturday, Feb. 9 and a three-course dinner with live entertainment by the renowned artist Kelly Dean at the Bluebonnet Grille at the City Centre at Quail Valley on Thursday, Feb. 14.

All MCTX stars are invited to dance their way to the 23rd annual Dad & Daughter Dance at the Community Center in the City Hall Complex, 1522 Texas Pkwy., on Feb. 9 at 6 p.m. for a Hollywood themed night of fun. In addition to a red carpet feel, it will be an evening of memories, dinner, dance, confetti and more.

“My daughter loves this event and is already talking about what she is going to wear for the night,” said City Manager Anthony Snipes. “This is a toast of the town event and I encourage all dads out there to purchase a ticket if they have not done so.”

The dance is $30 per dad/daughter pair and is $20 for each additional daughter. Tickets are on sale now at the Recreation & Tennis Center, 2701 Cypress Point Dr. For more information, call 281.403.8637 or visit

Then on Thursday, Feb. 14 enjoy a special dinner with your beloved at the Bluebonnet Grille at the City Centre, 2880 La Quinta Dr.

Guests will enjoy a three-course dinner and live music by one of Houston’s most sought-after musicians Kelly Dean from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Reservations are required and seating begins at 5:30 p.m. For more details and to reserve seats, call 281.403.8521.
