Taylor Lake Village City Council on Wednesday voted unanimously to accept the FY2018 Audit of the city's financial statements.

Belt Harrris Pechacek, the firm that conducted the city's audit, gave an unmodified, or “clean”, opinion, the highest assurance that the city's financial statements accurately reflected the city's financial status for FY2018.

The city council voted to adopt a resolution ordering an election for May 4 to elect the mayor and two council members.

Mayor Jon Keeney and council members Einar Goerland and Doug Blanchard have terms expiring in May.

The city council voted to exclude Vietnamese language from the ballot for the May 4 Election.
